Had the fajitas, very good. Excellent service.
We always love the food. Be patient, relax and enjoy
In a bigger town, this would be a 3 star place. There's nothing exceptional about it, but it's clean, the service is good, and the food is good.
Worst Mexican food I ever had! My wife and I were passing through this area on our way home and the other reviews made this look like an enticing option. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. It started with a waitress that took our order twice because she forgot what we ordered. Then when she brought me the wrong drink I knew this was going to be a rough meal. The neighboring table received a lemonade (three times!) when she ordered a beer, so it wasn't just my table. When the food arrived it was red sauce when green was ordered (the meal had the option) and instead of offering to fix it the waitress asked "well, is it bad?". At this point we waited almost 20 minutes and I was starving. Already this invested in the experience, I regretfully went with it. The enchiladas were EMPTY (see pic)! It was just tortillas in sauce! The flauta was over cooked and was like beef jerky inside a super crunchy tortilla that tasted like grease with a lovely topping of congealed hardened cheese from sitting under a heating lamp I'm guessing. The taco was a standard shell filled with browned ground meat. No more, no less. The meat had no seasoning, maybe not even salt, as it was devoid of all flavor. Lastly, the tamales were dry just the same as the flauta with an inedible pork jerky. The state of everything made me question if I would be sick on the road so I paid my bill and left hungry. Gas station meal it was, but I feel I made the right choice. Let my experience be a warning to those of you who are considering this place.
We felt like we were forgotten about. We walked in and didn't know whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, because there was no sign or server to direct us. The chips were okay but the salsa was incredibly hot. We didn't see a server until 10 minutes after we sat down, despite there being several running to and from. The table was also dirty. Our food took a while to come out and there is no draft beer. The food was okay at best - my fiance said his enchiladas were okay and the taco meat was weird (no seasoning) but that his tamale was good. My enchiladas weren't that great and my taco meat was also a bit strange. Would recommend only if everything else in town is closed. Not exactly the cutest restaurant in town, as it claims to be. The restaurant is also very small.
